Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Jeko Build. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jeko Build platform, website, and services ("Service"). Jeko Build is a multi-tenant professional platform designed for construction and real estate development management in Uganda and beyond.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use Jeko Build, you must be a registered business entity or a person of legal age (18 years and above) under Ugandan law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of the Service

Jeko Build provides tools for project management, BOQ tracking, procurement, and real estate sales. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to your professional construction and real estate operations. You shall not:

• Use the Service to store or transmit infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks.
• Reverse engineer the Service or its underlying architecture.

4. Subscription and Payments

Jeko Build is a subscription-based Service. Fees are based on the plan selected (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise). All fees are non-refundable except as required by Ugandan consumer protection laws. Failure to pay subscription fees may result in the suspension or termination of your access to the Service.

5. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal and business data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is designed to comply with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, source code, and algorithms, is the exclusive property of Jeko Build and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription period.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, Jeko Build shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to project delays, material losses, or financial inaccuracies.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
